Marketing Manager

As part of our global expansion, the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) is seeking talented professionals for the Asia Pacific region. For over four decades, CCL has conducted research and provided a broad variety of leadership development solutions to leaders and organizations. CCL is celebrating its seventh year in Singapore and has recently established a presence in India. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of an integrated Asia-Pacific marketing strategy to support the business plan
  • Work closely with the Global Marketing & Communications, Product Development, and Global Research to align the regional and the enterprise marketing strategy
  • Liaise with the Regional Directors of Client Solutions to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans
  • Drive and monitor fill rates and targeted revenue for all open-enrollment programs
  • Direct all marketing and branding activities for the achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profitability and market awareness
  • Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most optimal marketing mix to achieve sales quota; manage and monitor ROI of all marketing, including traditional and online campaigns; provide market insights for budget development and forecasts
  • Develop, implement and manage all lead-generation activities, marketing events, and advertising campaigns for the Asia Pacific region
  • Conduct periodic market analysis to identify customer and competitor trends, opportunities and challenges, and adapts marketing tactics to changing market conditions
  • Develop the appropriate sales and marketing tools for our custom solutions and open enrollment offerings to support the regional sales strategy and goals
  • Monitor the APAC website and all online e-marketing, track traffic trends, and work with Global Marketing to develop an APAC strategy aligned with our global web strategy to build awareness and drive enrollment
  • Manage the work and productivity of regional marketing and public relations consultants
  • Develop key propositions and messaging in line with overall marketing strategy; ensure consistency of marketing campaigns and messages
  • Act as client and market advocate on product development initiatives - integrate solutions portfolio data, market research, client, competitive, and market trends/needs analyses to direct development of products and services that better meet client needs. Identifies market requirements and potential into new geographies, market segments and channels that will define recommendations to Product Development
  • Establish and maintain contact with major suppliers, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives;

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required with a major in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business or related field. MBA or other related advanced degree strongly preferred or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of in-depth experience in implementing an integrated marketing strategy including print and online advertising, media planning, event marketing, and public relations
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the APAC region

Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Solid experience in the use of fundamental marketing tools such as advertising, direct mail, e-marketing, public relations and promotional events is a required asset
  • Ability to think strategically and implement plans in a timely manner; strong ability to create compelling business cases for new strategies
  • Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations. Ability to work with client, market and product data
  • Outstanding communication skills in both written and spoken English; excellent presentation skills, and executive presence
  • Energetic, self-motivated team player with ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise independent judgment and work with high degree of accuracy under strict deadlines and minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of clients and internal management. Ability to work collaboratively enterprise-wide
  • High level of expertise with Excel. Experience with MS Word and PowerPoint.
