Lyndon Rego
Previously, Lyndon was Manager, Alumni and Friends Communications and part of the Institutional Advancement, Communications, & Events (IACE) group. Along with other members of the IACE team, Lyndon was responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with alumni and friends of the Center. Activities managed by IACE include: the Center's website content at ccl.org; public relations and marketing communications; the Friends of the Center giving program; the Creative Leadership Council corporate sponsors program; strategic institutional relationships including partnerships and alliances along with alumni and friends programs.
Prior to joining the Center in 2002, Lyndon was Director of Marketing for Lipman Hearne, a marketing/communications consulting firm serving education and nonprofit institutions. At Lipman Hearne he managed the firm's marketing and new business programs and provided research, strategy, and communications services for clients such as the University of Chicago, Northwestern University School of Law, MacArthur Foundation, Pew Charitable Trusts, and Burnham Institute for Cancer Research. He also coordinated the annual Integrated Marketing Survey with CASE, which tracks marketing activities and impact at US colleges and universities, and managed WSES, an online study to measure the effectiveness of college Web sites with prospective students.
Lyndon earned an MBA, with an emphasis in strategy and marketing, from Kenan-Flagler (UNC-Chapel Hill), an MA in Communication from the University of North Dakota, and a certificate in strategic planning for nonprofit institutions from University of Illinois at Chicago. His areas of expertise and interest include integrated marketing, branding, services marketing, and international development. Lyndon provides communications counsel to the Bethesda Center for the Homeless. He has lived in India and the Middle East.
