Shirley Landry
Shirley initially joined the Center in 1995. She spent three years in Marketing as Market Research Analyst, joined the former Alliances and Partnerships group in 1998 as Project Manager, and Institutional Advancement, Communication, & Ed Sector in 2001 as Stewardship Manager. Prior to joining the Center, Shirley worked in the information technology field for Replacements Limited, in marketing for Abacon Telecommunications, and in global purchasing for Volvo Trucks North America. Additionally, Shirley started and manages her own business, Creative Memories.
Shirley received her B.S. degree in Marketing and a B.A. in Chemistry with honors from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. UNCG inducted her to the Golden Chain Honor Society based on her leadership, scholarship, and service to the university. She was also a Crescent Rotary scholarship recipient. Recently, Shirley received the Creative Memories National Spirit of Success award based on her entrepreneurship, leadership, and service to the community.
Born in Hamburg Germany, Shirley has lived in Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, and currently settled in the United States. She is fluent in English, Japanese, and Bahasa Indonesia. She is an active volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She also competes in triathlons and runs in marathons to raise money for charity.
