® (CCL

In the past four years, the Center has begun to scale an initiative entitled, Leadership Beyond Boundaries, taking leadership development beyond the domain of senior level executives at large multinational corporations to people everywhere who play a role in enacting leadership. Recent initiatives have included a focus on emerging markets, nonprofits, young leaders, and leveraging technologies such as mobile phones, iTunes, and Second Life. Steadman has sixteen years of experience in non-profit leadership, marketing, operations, and research. As an expert in managing large-scale complex projects, Steadman provides innovative approaches and operational direction for the delivery of successful, high-quality research and delivery initiatives. As a key member of the Research Innovation and Product Development group, Steadman serves as an innovation catalyst to help design, deliver, and test new and sustainable models for leadership development that are inclusive, accessible, and affordable. His engagements regularly involve the design, delivery, and project management needs of a very diverse global clientele. He has supported interventions for top companies in the following sectors: non-profit, computer, software, biotech, oil, consumer products, insurance, manufacturing, education, and the U.S. Government. Steadman's experience as a senior faculty for design and delivery of leadership development spans work in Uganda, Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, South Africa, India, Belgium, the Caribbean, and the United States. For the past seven years he has trained extensively in a variety of custom and open enrollment programs including the Leadership Beyond Boundaries Training of Trainers platform both in the US and abroad.
After completing his fourth year studies at the University of Leeds in England, he began working in Marketing and Client Relations. When the Center began planning for its US and international expansion, he was hired as the Facilities Manager to assist with the Greensboro, New York, and Brussels expansion projects. He served as the Manager of Administration and Operations for the Greensboro headquarters before joining the Global Custom Solutions team as a Senior Project Manager. His current role includes the management of the Center's Innovation Incubator and regional management of CCL's African leadership development with an office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This work is centrally directed from CCL's Europe, Middle-East, and Africa (EMEA) office in Brussels, Belgium.
