Research Projects - Team and Organizational Typologies

In recent years, CCL has explored ways in which leadership development involves more than "just" developing the competencies of individual leaders. Developing capabilities at the team and organizational levels is important as well. Furthermore, it has become increasingly important for CCL to demonstrate the impact of our work at the team and organizational levels as well as at the individual level. One of the important vehicles for the design and evaluation of our individual leader development work is CCL's typology of individual competencies. In order to design and evaluate the impact of programs at the team and organizational levels, additional typologies are needed. This project seeks to develop a typology of team capabilities and a complementary typology of organizational capabilities.
